You should have a strong sense of storytelling, attention to detail, and technical expertise in video editing software.Key ResponsibilitiesEdit raw footage into polished, engaging, and high-quality videos.Collaborate with the creative team to understand project goals and requirements.Add music, sound effects, voiceovers, graphics, and animations as needed.Ensure logical sequencing, smooth transitions, and storytelling flow.Maintain brand consistency across all video content.Optimize videos for various platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, website, etc.).Stay up-to-date with industry trends, editing styles, and software updates.Manage and organize video files and assets for easy access and archiving.Work closely with producers, directors, and content creators to meet deadlines.RequirementsProven work experience as a Video Editor or similar role.Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or After Effects.Strong understanding of visual storytelling, color grading, and sound design.Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Attention to detail and a creative mindset.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.A portfolio or demo reel showcasing previous video editing work.
