1. Examination and drafting in respect of files having legal issues like land disputes,non compliance of order, 80 CPC notice, administrative issues like promotion, transfer,appointment etc2.Assist in preparation of draft note to MoD / Mol mentioning the legal grounds forfiling/ challenging the Judgment/Orders passed by concerned court,3.Examination / scrutiny of the proposal for obtaining Legal Opinion of LA(Def)regarding filing of Appeals in High Court and SLP in the Apex Court,4.To provide specific course of action and implementation of Act/Rules to processthe cases related to acquisition, transfer and diversion of land from variousagencies/Government Bodies and issues addressed by the concerned authorities.5. Examine the issues in post-acquisition Litigation and assist in preparation ofreplies,6. To assist the Defense Estates Officer (DEO) in preparing replies in PPE Act cases7. To provide advice on different legal issues8. To be actively involved in preparing and drafting of different statutory and legalsubmissions and draft the authoritative legal opinions as well.9. To assist in reviewing the legal material and any other relevant documents and toidentify the most important issues that need to be sorted out on a priority basis10. To draw up formalities regarding the settlement of legal cases and monitors theimplementation of the legal clauses.11. To coordinate, follow up and monitor the progress ol the cases pending in variouscourts of law across the country in consultation with the DEO.12. Taking a lead role, especially during meetings, hearings, etc., and prioritizing work toensure that the services delivered to the DEO are of high quality13.
