As a Food & Beverage Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Your responsibilities will include:- **Welcoming Guests:** Greet customers warmly as they arrive, creating a friendly atmosphere that makes them feel welcome and valued.- **Taking Orders:** Listen attentively to guests' food and beverage requests, accurately recording their selections to ensure their needs are met.- **Serving Food and Beverages:** Deliver orders to tables promptly and politely, ensuring that each dish and drink meets presentation standards.- **Maintaining Cleanliness:** Keep the dining and service areas clean and organized, which includes clearing tables and sanitizing surfaces to provide a safe environment.- **Assisting with Menu Inquiries:** Provide information about menu items, including descriptions and ingredients, to help guests make informed choices.- **Handling Payments:** Process customer payments accurately and efficiently, ensuring a smooth transaction at the end of their meal.To succeed in this role, you should have strong communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to interact effectively with guests and team members. A positive attitude and a willingness to learn are essential, especially if you have limited experience in the food and beverage industry. You should be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A basic understanding of food safety protocols is a plus, and you should be comfortable standing for long periods while performing your duties.
