Join our team as a Quality Control Head with a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in quality control & related functions for a manufacturing plant making pipes and fittings. This role demands a proactive individual to independently oversee and optimize the entire quality control function. Here's what the role encompasses: 1. Assume complete responsibility for managing all aspects focusing on quality control functions. Lead a QC team and ensure that the team is able to achieve 100% responsibility to ensure safe and reliable output of the manufacturing processes. 2. **Standard Operating Practices:** Develop and implement standardized operating practices for testing, assembly methodologies, and machining practices, ensuring consistency and efficiency. Should be well versed with inspection procedures and general SOPs to be followed so that the correct quality and type of materials are being dispatched to the project sites. 3. **Compliance Management:** Ensure strict compliance with industry quality parameters and standards, employing your extensive knowledge of manufacturing industry best practices. 4. **Vendor Coordination:** Collaborate with vendors to enforce statutory compliance related to SOPs, minimizing rejections during final assembly and improving overall product quality. 5. **Real-Time Monitoring:** Implement a robust system for daily test report monitoring, allowing for immediate adjustments to SOPs or corrections as needed. This includes adherence to safety practices during high-pressure testing of pipes and fittings. 6. **Continuous Improvement:** Drive a culture of continuous improvement by actively seeking ways to enhance quality, efficiency, and safety in testing and assembly processes.

1. Strategic Sourcing: Identify, assess, and select potential vendors for the procurement of raw materials, equipment, and services. Build and maintain relationships with vendors across various locations in India to ensure a reliable supply chain.2. Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors to negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing. Monitor vendor performance, conduct regular audits, and address any issues to maintain quality and timely delivery.3. Cost Control: Develop and implement cost-effective purchasing strategies to optimize expenditure without compromising quality and timeline requirements.4. Project Coordination: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand specific project requirements and align procurement activities accordingly.5. Risk Mitigation: Identify potential risks in the supply chain, create contingency plans, and take proactive measures to mitigate disruptions in the procurement process.6. Data Analysis: Utilize data analysis tools to assess market trends, vendor performance, and make informed decisions to optimize purchasing processes.7. Communication: Effectively communicate with internal teams and vendors to relay project requirements, resolve issues, and ensure smooth coordination throughout the procurement cycle.8. Continuous Improvement: Implement best practices, evaluate and introduce new technologies, and drive process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness within the procurement function.
