We are seeking a dedicated Educational Counsellor to join our team in Thane West. This role is for individuals who have recently completed their 12th grade, and no prior experience is necessary. You will play an important role in guiding students toward their educational goals.**Key Responsibilities:**- **Counsel Students:** Provide one-on-one guidance to students regarding their academic choices and career paths, helping them make informed decisions.- **Assess Needs:** Evaluate the individual needs of each student to recommend appropriate educational programs or courses.- **Provide Information:** Stay updated on educational options and resources available to students and share this information effectively.- **Conduct Workshops:** Organize and participate in workshops or seminars that educate students about various career opportunities and the importance of education.- **Build Relationships:** Foster a supportive environment by building strong relationships with students, encouraging open communication about their educational interests and concerns.**Required Skills and Expectations:**- Strong communication skills are essential for clearly conveying information and advice to students.- Empathy and patience are important to understand and support students from diverse backgrounds and with varying needs.- Basic knowledge of educational pathways and career options will be beneficial.- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn will help you thrive in this role.- Teamwork skills are essential as you will collaborate with other staff members to enhance student counselling services.
