Krish Foundation situated at Vrindavan is building a dairy plant that presently produces ghee from sourced quality A2 milk and aims at building a dairy product pipeline for conscious consumers across India and overseas. The plant is in the incubation stage with a promising capacity of growth.Dairy Plant Manager: (3500 INR) *open to negotiationThe Dairy Plant Manager oversees and directs the plant in multi-functional areas of responsibilities such as plant functioning, sourcing, quality controls, production and sales. The role requires inter-department engagement. Responsibilities will include:Drive readiness of the dairy plant, identify gaps and opportunities to work towards completion of the plants unfinished verticals.Experience in production of by-products including Ghee, Butter, Flavoured Milk, Lassi/Butter Milk, Paneer, and various other milk products etc.Oversee critical functions such as production, QC and maintenance of the plant. Therefore, candidate should be well versed in plant management, production, packaging, licenses and quality controls.Drive Production planning and scheduling in order to best meet order requirements. Manage inventory of all raw materials, packing material, and finished goods.Ensure quality and safety: should be equipped to ensure all milk quality and adulteration testing is conducted in line with the companys and industrys SOPs. Ensure dairy plant operations in strict accordance with industry safety protocols.Manages and directs overall activities from processing to production, facilitating and ensuring the organisations scheduled targets are met.Works in symphony with all team members & internal teams/departments for all aspects of the business as required for the role.Experience - Minimum 5-6 years of exp in a Dairy Production center. The responsibilities will include:Ensure 24/7 functioning of the plant (as per SOP)Work on completing functional/operational plant works under the supervision of the plant head.Technical knowledge of civil works and of dairy quality controls is a must. The role includes day to day plant operations management and quality controls. The responsibilities will include:Creating a framework to keep accounts of expenses, income, funding spends, sales projections, actual sales and others.Book-keeping of day to day accounts, invoicing and administering payrolls.Preparation of Income Tax returns, Service Tax / Excise / GST Returns, and other statutory requirements applicablePreparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financials, audits as per requirement. Once the plant is fully functional, the candidate will be expected to analyse data and create performance reports, budgets,and financial statements for presentation to stakeholders. Create a distributor and retailer region/state specific partnership strategy and framework, prior to the outreach. Drive distributor network in line with company targets, by onboarding / recruiting promising distributors for A2 ghee. The candidate should be able to extend the network to incorporate the growing dairy product pipeline inclusive of paneer, butter and other related products.Build retailer partnerships in select markets to drive large sales. Create sales policies, manage city logistics for timely delivery to distributors and ensuring timely collection of funds from distributors.Work closely with the plant head and the management team mainly to drive organisational sales targets, in line with the organisation's business plan.Share consumer insights with the marketing manager to integrate into marketing strategy and communication.Maintain customer database and track consumer retention and purchases. Assist in building a consumer database MIS in the future.Monitor and present region/ state-wise sales performance regularly. Create programme modules aimed at recruiting local farmers as supply partners of the organisationThe role includes designing programmes that bring to life the organisations vision of empowering local farmers with sustainable livelihood solutions. Construct a plan and conduct a survey to identify neighbouring villages for outreach.Develop and implement surveys, initiatives to regularly engage and communicate with onboarded farmers.Develop an annual community outreach budget.Prepare programme reports for internal communications.Knowledge or educational background related to dairy farming, rural entrepreneurship or grassroot nonprofit experience is a must.
