We are seeking a skilled Female Tailor to join our luxury fashion brand. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fashion and a keen eye for detail. They will be responsible for creating custom-made clothing, alterations, and repairs to ensure that our clients receive high-quality, well-fitting garments.Key Responsibilities:Interpreting and analyzing clients' requests, taking accurate measurements and drafting patternsCutting fabrics according to patterns and designs, and sewing garments with precisionPerforming alterations and repairs on existing garments, ensuring a perfect fit for each clientCommunicating with clients and offering style advice, recommending alterations and adjustments when neededMaintaining a clean and organized work area and ensuring all equipment is properly maintained and used safelyCollaborating with other members of the design and production team to ensure timely delivery of finished productsStaying up-to-date with industry trends, techniques and technologies in tailoring, and applying them to improve skills and techniquesProviding excellent customer service and building lasting relationships with clientsQualifications:A minimum of 1 year experience in tailoring, preferably in a luxury fashion brandA keen eye for detail and a passion for fashion and craftsmanshipProficiency in using tailoring equipment such as sewing machines, scissors, and measuring toolsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlinesGood time-management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectivelyKnowledge of fabrics and garment construction techniquesAbility to work independently or as part of a teamEducation:High schoolFormal training or certification in tailoring or fashion design preferredWork Environment:Work will take place in a well-lit, temperature-controlled environmentSome weekend and evening work may be required during busy seasons.
