Operators Turning (CNC Turning Operator)Kannan Tools & DiesKey Responsibilities1. Machine OperationOperate CNC Turning machines based on job instructions and machine settings provided by the Setter or Programmer.Load raw materials, run parts, and monitor machining operations.Maintain cycle times and output as per production plans.Ensure smooth, continuous running of the machine without unnecessary stoppages.2. In-Process InspectionMeasure components using basic instruments:Vernier calliperMicrometreBore gaugeHeight gaugePlug/thread gaugesCheck critical dimensions as instructed by the Setter/Shift in charge.Report deviations or quality issues immediately.3. Tool & Machine MonitoringMonitor tool wear, tool breakage, and coolant levels.Inform Setter or Tool Room for tool changes or insert replacements.Avoid unauthorized offset adjustments or machine parameter changes.Keep the machine and work area clean and free from chips.4. Documentation & ReportingRecord production data, inspection results, and machine downtime in logbooks or ERP.Provide complete shift handover details to the next operator.Maintain proper documentation of in-process inspection records when required.Required QualificationsEducationITI (Turner/Machinist) / Diploma in Mechanical or related trade.Basic CNC operation training is an advantage.Experience14 years of experience operating CNC Turning machines.Experience in precision machining, aerospace, medical, or engineering components preferred.SkillsBasic knowledge of CNC turning operations.Ability to read simple engineering drawings and understand tolerances.Hands-on experience with measuring instruments.Good observation skills and focus on accuracy.Discipline, punctuality, and willingness to learn.Facilities : Accommodation , Food , Cab & Uniform ShoesBenefits : PF/ESI/Attendance Incentives / Yearly BonusShift : Rotational ShiftContact Person : Mr.Sathayaprakash HR Contact number : 9043330782,8973481715
