Overview
Responsibilities:-
Handling the maintenance of raw material equipments like:-
Belt-conveyor system and its equipments like belt, pulley, idler, gearbox, fluid coupling, gear coupling, pin coupling, scrapper, and skirt rubber and diverter gate with gear pump actuator.
Magnetic separator.
Screen house with vibrating screen.
Truck unloading station with vibrofeeder.
Twin Boom Stacker (TBS), Stacker Reclaimer and Barrel Reclaimer.
Maintenance of paddle feeder.
Hammer crusher, Roller Crusher.
Dedusting System, wagon Tippler.
Created inspection reports, preventive maintenance plan, daily maintenance schedules, maintenance planning and inventory cost control.
Examining job received on daily, weekly and monthly basis.
Coaching and training of workmen in the department.
Liasioning & coordinating with the internal customers (Blast furnace, Coke oven, SMS, Sinter Plant, Power plant) for supply raw material to them as per their requirement with respect to both quality and quantity.
Maintaining the bunkers level of all the production units in healthy condition.
Coordinating with maintenance agencies for increase availability and reliability of wagon unloading equipments, conveyor system and other related equipments.
Fulfilling railways expectation by ensuring quick release of Rakes.
Maintaining safe operations in the works and eliminate unsafe conditions related to unloading operations, storage, reclamations etc. and safety standard and ensure safety observation and action.

CORE COMPETENCIES
Ensuring tippling of rake (Iron Ore Fines) BOXN with Turn Around Time (TAT) 8hrs in wagon tipplers & TAT6hrs in Track Hopper.
In addition of handling BOBSN rake (Iron Ore Fines) with TAT of 2hrs in Track hopper.
Operation S/I of Iron ore beneficiation plant feeding system to feed @ 30,000 T/day of Iron ore fines.
Planning and handling outside & screen fins (by road& rake) @ 35000 t/day.
