James Stephens began his career in 1989 as an independent jewellery manufacturer and repairer in Wimbledon, South London after serving a 5 year apprenticeship specialising in diamond mounting.
He progressed into retail and opened James Stephens Jewellers in 1998 and later in 2007, a sister shop, Sarah James Jewellers in Carshalton
