1.Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), Certified Professional Coder (CPC), or similar coding certification is preferred.2.Solid understanding of ICD-10-CM coding guidelines, HCC coding principles, and risk adjustment methodologies.3.Proficiency in using coding software and electronic health record (EHR) systems.4.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.5.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.6.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.7.Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.8.Familiarity with healthcare reimbursement systems, such as Medicare Advantage or other managed care plans, is a plus.
