Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to oversee fabrication, assembly, and installation of industrial workbenches, EV lab infrastructure, structural frames, and mechanical systems.The candidate will be responsible for managing shop floor activities, supervising technicians, and ensuring timely project execution with quality and safety compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise fabrication and assembly of MS/SS structures and workbenchesRead and interpret mechanical drawings and fabrication drawingsAllocate daily tasks to technicians and weldersEnsure proper use of tools, machines, and safety equipmentMonitor welding, cutting, bending, and assembly processesEnsure quality standards and dimensional accuracyCoordinate with Design and Project teams for smooth executionMaintain production schedules and meet delivery timelinesHandle site installation work when requiredRequired Skills & QualificationsDiploma / ITI in Mechanical Engineering or related field25 years of experience in fabrication or mechanical supervisionStrong knowledge of: Structural fabrication (MS, SS), Welding processes, Sheet metal work, Assembly and installationAbility to read technical drawings

Role Summary:Responsible for fabrication and welding of metal structures used in Electric Vehicle (EV) workbenches and training equipment, ensuring quality, strength, and safety standards.Key Responsibilities:Perform MIG welding for EV workbench frames and structuresFabricate, cut, grind, and assemble metal components as per drawingsEnsure weld quality and dimensional accuracyWork on automotive/EV-related fabrication projectsFollow workshop safety and quality guidelinesMandatory Requirements:Hands-on experience in MIG weldingExperience in automotive or EV industryKnowledge of materials such as MS pipes, MS channels, and sectionsAbility to read basic fabrication drawingsQualification:ITI / Diploma in Welding or equivalent practical experience
