Inspect raw materials to ensure consistency and integrity Maintain, test and troubleshoot all instrumentation devices Attempt repairs on broken or damaged products to determine the best way to scale those repairs Test a certain percentage of all products based on industry standards Report problems or concerns to senior management immediately Manage our quality assurance division and ensure all Exporters meet their required quotas Provide training and support to QA team of exporter Create an effective, efficient testing protocol to be used across all product lines

1. Communication with apparel buyers and brands by mail (mostly)2. Meeting with vendors and explaining new development requirement to vendor team. 3. Planning for new orders 4. Sample Development check specs and coordinate with PD team of Supplier5. Submission of samples to buyer 6. Follow up with vendors for samples7. Follow up with buyers for approvals and feedback8. Giving approval on samples where buyer intervention is not required.9. Updating latest comments from Buyers - on styles or order to vendor representative10. Update the buyers with the order status at all stages11. Execution of running orders (production)12. Visit to vendor site-When needs, merchandisers visit their vendors for meeting, for follow up of the work. Follow up can be for samples and production orders. 13. Sourcing of materials for new development14. Preparation of material requirement15. Selection and finalizing of vendors for the upcoming orders based on vendors experience of making similar products16. Preparing purchase orders for the supplier. 17. Costing and negotiation with trim & accessory suppliers. 18. Handle quality issues for sampling as well as production.19. Preparing inspection schedule for shipment and notifying to quality department in the buying house or third party QA.20. Maintaining files and Accounts21. Updating Time and Action calendar.
