Key responsibilities:1. Lead and mentor a small team of 2-3 engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.2. Uphold and advocate for engineering best practices within the team, encouraging code quality, efficiency, and adherence to industry standards.3. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to prioritize projects based on business needs and market demand, aligning engineering efforts with strategic goals.4. Dive into real-world problems, dissecting them into manageable engineering tasks for quick and effective solutions.5. Ensure the production code is correct promoting frequent releases.6. Establish and maintain code review processes and comprehensive testing strategies to guarantee code quality and reliability.7. Facilitate the documentation of existing codebase and promote thorough documentation for new code to ensure knowledge transfer and maintainability.8. Identify and participate in the hiring process to onboard skilled engineers when necessary, contributing to the expansion and success of the development team.Note: You will not write code in this role.
