Work with purchase manager and other stakeholders to understand material and service requirements, timelines, and budget constraintsIdentify and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors. Establish criteria for selection based on quality, cost, and delivery capabilities.Engage in negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers. Address and resolve any issues that arise during the procurement process.Prepare and issue purchase orders for required materials and services. Ensure that orders are placed accurately and in a timely manner.Monitor the status of orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve any discrepancies or delays.Keep detailed records of purchase orders, contracts, and correspondence with suppliers.

Create precise technical drawings and schematics for various boiler components, assemblies, and systems, including pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and pipingTranslate engineering concepts, calculations, and specifications into detailed and accurate technical drawings.Make sure drawings meet industry standards, codes, and regulations specific to boiler design and manufacturing, such as ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) standards.Offer technical assistance to production teams and quality control personnel based on the drawings and specifications provided.Ensure that all drawings are accurate, including dimensions, tolerances, and material specifications, to avoid errors in manufacturing.Revise and update drawings based on design changes, feedback from engineering teams, or modifications required during the manufacturing process.
