Job Summary:The Circulation Manager will oversee the operation of the magazine/newspaper circulation department and supervise sales and distribution.Supervisory Responsibilities:Interviews, hires, and trains new circulation staff.Conducts performance evaluations for circulation staff and other reports.Duties/Responsibilities:Collaborates with promotions manager to develop effective marketing campaigns.Conducts long-range planning, which may include focus on targeted market segments.Oversees distribution channels to ensure efficient operation and accurate recordkeeping.Prepares annual budget, accounting for marketing campaign expenses and potential revenue.Ensures accurate maintenance of subscriber records to facilitate prompt delivery.Maintains subscriber lists for use in sales promotions.Performs other related duties as assigned.
