Drafting and Design: Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings for roads, highways, drainage, utilities, and other infrastructure projects using CAD software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.). Project Coordination: Collaborate with engineers, surveyors, and other team members to understand project specifications and incorporate feedback into designs. Technical Documentation: Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and layouts as per project requirements and industry standards. Quality Control: Review and verify design accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant codes, standards, and project specifications. Drawing Revisions: Update and revise drawings based on feedback from engineers, project managers, and clients. Site Visits: Conduct site visits when required to gather data, verify existing conditions, and ensure designs align with actual site parameters. Documentation Management: Maintain drawing logs, project files, and other related documentation in an organized and accessible manner. Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior draftsmen and trainees in drafting techniques and software proficiency. Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest drafting software, standards, and best practices in the infrastructure and civil engineering field.
