Communication with staff: Communicate cleaning status updates to room attendants, inform them of any special requests, and follow up on outstanding tasks. Lost and found: Manage lost items found in guest rooms and coordinate their return to guests. Reporting and documentation: Maintain records of room status, cleaning schedules, and any guest complaints related to housekeeping. Staff scheduling: Assist in scheduling housekeeping staff based on occupancy levels and cleaning needs. Quality control: Conduct spot checks on cleaned rooms to ensure compliance with established standards. Guest check-in/check-out coordination: Ensure rooms are ready for new arrivals and properly cleaned for departing guests. Important skills for a housekeeping desk attendant: 1.
