GRINista was started as a project during the COVID-19 in 2021 by Suraj Singh when he had recognized the need to distribute food among the local underprivileged community who were struggling to get even 1-2 times of their meal in a day during the lockdown period. This way it started as a project to distribute food and old clothes to the needy people. Later as COVID ended the project was focused and committed to work towards sustainability.
