We are looking for an experienced Production Planning Manager to join our team in Ottapalam. The ideal candidate will have 10 to 20 years of experience in production planning and management. **Key Responsibilities:**- **Develop Production Plans:** Create detailed production schedules based on forecasted demand and inventory levels to meet customer needs efficiently.- **Monitor Inventory Levels:** Regularly assess raw material and finished goods inventories to ensure that stock levels are maintained without overstocking or stockouts.- **Coordinate with Departments:** Collaborate with procurement, manufacturing, and sales teams to align production plans with overall business objectives and operational capabilities.- **Analyze Production Data:** Utilize production metrics and KPIs to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement in efficiencies and cost reductions.- **Manage Resources:** Oversee the allocation of resources, including workforce and machinery, to optimize production processes and ensure timely completion of orders.- **Implement Best Practices:** Establish and promote best practices in production planning and scheduling to enhance productivity and minimize waste.Required skills and expectations include:- **Strong Leadership Skills:** Ability to lead and motivate a team, ensuring every member understands their role in achieving production goals.- **Analytical Thinking:** Proficiency in analyzing data to make informed decisions that improve operational efficiency.- **Advanced Planning Skills:** Experience with production scheduling software and tools that streamline production processes.- **Problem-Solving Ability:** Aptitude for identifying issues and developing practical solutions to overcome production challenges.- **Excellent Communication:** Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with various departments and stakeholders. Candidates in the age group of 30-40 years with around 10 years of experience in Quality Control. Exposure to Medical Devices industry is mandatory and experience in the production of disposable syringes would be an added advantage.
