Presents and reinforces learning concepts within a specified subject or subject area.Answers student inquiries and resolves problems related to curriculum and course prerequisites, referring to written course descriptions, and other appropriate sources.Prepares appropriate documentation and reports on programs and on student progress.Coordinates retention activities including student mentor programs, tutor services, advising, and study skills workshops; plans, develops, and coordinates special events.Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.Provide individualized instruction to each student by promoting interactive learningPlan and execute educational in-class and outdoor activities and eventsKnowledge and skill set required: Proven experience as a teacherThorough knowledge of teaching best practices and legal educational guidelines partnered with a willingness to follow the schools policies and proceduresExcellent communicability and interpersonal skillsWell-organized and committedCreative and energeticStrong moral values and disciplineDegree in teaching or in a specialized subject with a certificate in education;Qualifications and SkillsB.ed is a plus
