Managing team of engineers for completion and submission of reports within project timelines. Port Planning and Preliminary Design for Marine and Land Side Infrastructures using various National and International codes, manuals and guidelines. Responsible for Vessel size analysis, Port Layout and Master Plan, Dredging plan, Navigational studies and Cargo handling systems for a complete port or individual terminals for dry bulk, liquid bulk and LPG, break bulk, container cargo, IWT terminal for cargo, passenger/tourists & Traffic assessment with Traffic projections, assisting in Financial Viability Analysis and Project Structuring. Coordination with Clients in data collection and various technical aspects. Supported project planning and execution for research development, surveys & investigations and expedited the infrastructure activities like Road, Rail, Water, Power, etc. Preparation of Cost Estimates and Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for Marine & Infrastructure Projects. Preparation of Techno-Economic Feasibility Study (TEFS) and Detailed Project Reports (DPR) along with presentations for new projects. Prepare, review and analysis of surveys and investigation reports (cadastral, topography, geotechnical, bathymetry, Side Scan Sonar and Sub-Bottom Profile charts, numerical model studies) for marine infrastructure projects. Development and implementation solutions to maintain and improve existing infrastructures. Site Visit and Technical Data Collection required from site for TEFS, DPR completion. Coordination with sub-consultants and vendors on getting quotation and finalizing work orders. Preparation of bidding documents and tender specifications. To provide detail drawing for the ongoing and upcoming projects of Global Archer Construction and Engineering in the Mumbai Head Office. The individual must ensure the requirements of the Clients to be fulfilled, by producing detailed drawings and calculations when required.Key AccountabilitiesThe Associate Structural Designer shall be responsible for delivery of good for construction drawings and associated documentation for Reinforced Concrete, Steel structures.Produce reinforced concrete and steelwork detailed drawings which are clear, accurate, cost effective, meet the requirements of the specification and which can be constructed and commissioned safely and effectively.Consider environmental issues in all design activities.Comply with standard practices and details wherever possible.Ensure that previous similar solutions are adapted and utilized wherever possible.Immediately report design problems or deficiencies to supervisor and project manager.Maintain competitiveness by ensuring drawings are produced within the time durations indicatedWork to procedures and processes to ensure the continuing development of the departmentCoordinate drawing production with all other project disciplines both internal and external.Ensure drawing review procedures are followed.Maintain drawing files and records throughout the duration of contracts.Should be ready to travel anywhere across the world.The candidate must be proficient in structural design of RCC and Steel structures in accordance with the codes and standards. Preferably should have good command in Staad Pro, Etabs, SAFE, etc.Minimum experience of 4 years in reinforced concrete and steelwork detailing in Construction projects (Oil and Gas, Industrial, Jetty, Bridge, Commercial Building, Piperack Designs)Understand the principles of engineering drawing conception and developmentUnderstand the companys drawing
