Your RoleOur Finance is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified Client Accountant to work in our Mumbai office.Your Key Responsibilities *Review reinsurance cessions, losses, and statements of accounts to ensure its compliance with treaty terms*Register premiums, commissions and losses in the system*Respond to clients queries on all accounting matters*Manage receivables effectively to prevent overdue balances*Prepare statutory reports and respond to regulators and auditors queriesYour Profile *Degree qualified, preferably in Insurance, Accounting , Mathematics or related disciplines*5-7 years of related experience in insurance/reinsurance industry, with good working knowledge of insurance and reinsurance standards, practices and principles*Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Access to work with large volume of data and mastery of a database language such as SQL is added advantage*Ability to automate processes through programming is an added advantage*Proficient in both spoken and written English*Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills*Able to achieve high-quality results in a dynamic environment*This is a one (1) year contract role.
