As a Civil Site Engineer, you will oversee construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role requires a strong understanding of civil engineering principles and effective project management skills.Key Responsibilities:1. **Project Planning and Management**: You will create detailed project plans and schedules, coordinating with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.2. **Site Supervision**: You will oversee daily construction activities on-site, ensuring that work is carried out according to design specifications and quality standards while adhering to safety regulations.3. **Collaboration and Communication**: You will liaise with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to discuss project progress, address issues, and implement necessary changes.4. **Quality Control**: You will conduct regular inspections and tests on materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.5. **Documentation and Reporting**: You will maintain accurate records of project progress, expenses, and timelines, preparing reports for management and stakeholders.Required Skills and Expectations:We are looking for a candidate with 5 to 10 years of experience in civil engineering, preferably in site management. A post-graduate degree in civil engineering is essential. You should possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective problem-solving abilities, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work well within a team. Familiarity with construction software and regulations is important.
