We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Lab Assistant to support our perfume manufacturing team! As a Lab Assistant, you will assist in the preparation, production, and quality control of perfumes, fragrances, and aroma compounds. You will work closely with our perfumers and production team to ensure the highest quality products.Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and measure ingredients for perfume production- Assist in blending, filling, and labeling perfumes and fragrances- Conduct quality control tests and record results- Maintain accurate records of production, inventory, and quality control- Clean and sanitize laboratory equipment and work areas- Assist in the development of new fragrances and products- Support the perfumers in sensory evaluation and fragrance testing- Monitor and maintain laboratory supplies and inventoryRequirements:- 1+ year of experience in a laboratory setting or related field- Strong understanding of laboratory safety protocols and procedures- Ability to accurately measure and mix ingredients- Attention to detail and quality control skills- Excellent communication and teamwork skills- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in chemistry or a related field preferredNice to Have:- Experience with fragrance creation software (e.g., perfume design programs)- Knowledge of fragrance regulations and safety guidelines- Familiarity with sensory evaluation techniques and descriptive analysis
