Electro Mech Corporation was established in 1967 by Dr. S. Philip Lewis, a Mechanical Engineer from University of London and a Doctorate from City University, Los Angeles, USA in the field of Metallurgy at Rajajinagar Industrial Estate. The company then specialized in the manufacture of precision metal stamped parts for the then emerging telecommunication industry in India.
