We are searching for a self-motivated, flexible NodeJS backend/API developer to join our team and develop novel apps. To this end, the backend developers responsibilities include understanding the requirement, writing and proofreading code and liaising with the frontend teams.Job ResponsibilitiesThe person is responsible for designing, development and deploying APIs, according to project requirement. Strive to create reliable backend services that are efficient and scalable.Job Requirements Must have extensive knowledge and excellent expertise in REST web services, video upload architecture and video streaming. Ability to understand PHP code for migrating APIs is highly preferred. Regular exposure to business stakeholders and executive management, as well as the authority and scope, to apply your expertise to many interesting technical problems. Candidate must have a strong understanding of Application Programming Interface, general web functions and standards. Cooperate with web/mobile developers to match architecture intent. The position requires constant communication with colleagues. Experience in planning and delivering software platforms used across multiple products and organizational units. Deep expertise and hands-on experience with Web Applications and programming languages such as NodeJS, Java and API are required. Prior knowledge in AWS Media Services (development and deployment) is preferred. Good functional knowledge or hands-on design experience with Web Services (REST, JSON, SOAP, etc.), Encryption (data at rest, data in use) is mandatory to be successful in this position. Experience with DevOps (AWS) will be a huge plus. Should have a good grasp on security and encryption principles. Nice to have - the ability to integrate with payment gateways.
