The Senior Market Analyst position is an integral part of the research team and is expected to contribute to the organization and manage the day-to-day execution of client projects. This position will be responsible for advanced information gathering, business/report writing and analysis. This position reports to a Project Manager.Job Responsibilities:Manage Research ProcessUnderstand and execute the research process and steps involved in conducting research projectsIndependently manage timelines and effectively work to meet established project timelinesCommunicate project process or timing barriers/challenges to managersContinue developing and implementing creative problem-solving skills with confidenceManage more of the overall process of achieving project objectives and goalsDesign, manage and oversee quality control processes for information gathering throughout the project (not just at the end)Identify and resolve potential issues in research process (initial and ongoing) and bring to managers attentionUnderstand and apply knowledge to multiple Ducker/business-to-business research practices and project types, including:Market Intelligence: Competitive Intelligence, Market Size/ Segmentation/Opportunity, Due DiligenceCoach and direct junior team members on proper execution of methodologyLiaise with the research staff, including briefing/debriefingFieldwork and Information Gathering ProcessConduct necessary in-depth primary research (i.e., telephone interviews, personal interviews, both structured/unstructured, with industry peopleIndependently develop or manage the development of contacts/respondents for both project team and individual fieldworkDesign and write study instruments (quantitative, programming outlines using logic, skip patterns, etc.) for information collection Apply experience and creativity to business/market analysis tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of information gatheringMonitor and guide inform
