We are looking for a Heavy Vehicle Driver to join our team in Puducherry. The ideal candidate should be reliable and dedicated, responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently.**Key Responsibilities:**- **Vehicle Operation:** Safely operate heavy vehicles, ensuring compliance with traffic regulations and company policies to avoid accidents and ensure smooth operations.- **Transport Goods:** Deliver goods to designated locations on time and in good condition, maintaining schedules and managing routes effectively.- **Vehicle Maintenance:** Conduct regular inspections and routine maintenance of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition, reporting any issues promptly.- **Record Keeping:** Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption to assist with logistics and inventory management.- **Communication:** Interact with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate schedules and resolve any issues that may arise during transport.**Required Skills and Expectations:**- Candidates must have completed at least the 10th grade and should possess a valid driver's license for heavy vehicles.- A minimum of 1 year of driving experience is preferred, allowing for familiarity with road conditions and safety protocols.- Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with team members and clients.- The candidate should be physically fit, able to endure long hours of driving, and willing to work full-time.- Punctuality and a strong sense of responsibility are crucial to ensure timely deliveries and maintain company standards.
