- Take measurements: Accurately measure clients' bodies to ensure precise tailoring of garments.- Cut fabric: Skillfully cut fabric according to patterns and measurements to create clothing pieces.- Sewing expertise: Possess advanced sewing skills to sew together fabric pieces using various techniques.- Alterations: Perform alterations on garments to fit clients specific measurements and preferences.- Quality control: Ensure that all finished garments meet high-quality standards and are free of defects.The ideal candidate for this role should:- Have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in tailoring and garment cutting.- Be a 10th pass with a strong understanding of different fabrics and their properties.- Demonstrate proficiency in taking accurate measurements and cutting fabric with precision.- Possess advanced sewing skills and knowledge of various sewing techniques.- Be detail-oriented with a keen eye for quality and craftsmanship.- Have excellent communication skills to work closely with clients and understand their specific requirements.
