We are seeking an experienced Lathe Machine Operator to join our team in Dahej GIDC, Bharuch. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 10 years of relevant experience and possess an I.T.I. certification. This full-time position requires a strong understanding of lathe operations and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.Key responsibilities include:- **Setting Up Machines**: Prepare lathe machines for production by installing the correct tools and fixtures according to specifications for each job.- **Operating Machines**: Run lathe machines to produce precision parts, ensuring they meet design specifications and tolerances while monitoring for any issues during the process.- **Quality Control**: Inspect finished products using measuring tools such as calipers and gauges to ensure each part meets quality standards.- **Maintenance**: Perform routine maintenance on lathe machines, keeping them in good working condition, and promptly report any mechanical issues to supervisors.- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of production runs, quality checks, and machine maintenance to support smooth operations and compliance.The successful candidate must have a strong attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues. Proficiency in reading technical blueprints and manuals is essential, as is a commitment to safety regulations. Good communication skills and teamwork are important to ensure a collaborative work environment. Candidates should be physically fit and capable of standing for extended periods while operating machinery.
