We are looking for a dedicated Office Accountant to manage our financial transactions and help maintain the fiscal health of our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of basic accounting principles and a good understanding of financial reporting.**Key Responsibilities:**- **Record Financial Transactions:** Accurately input daily financial transactions into the accounting software to ensure all data is up-to-date.- **Prepare Financial Statements:** Create monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements to provide insight into our financial status.- **Manage Accounts Payable and Receivable:** Monitor outstanding invoices and ensure timely payments from clients while managing the organization's expenses to maintain cash flow.- **Reconcile Bank Statements:** Regularly compare and reconcile bank statements with internal records to identify and resolve discrepancies.- **Assist with Budget Preparation:** Collaborate in preparing annual budgets and forecasts to support strategic planning and financial decision-making.- **Ensure Compliance:** Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations to ensure the company's financial practices adhere to all legal and regulatory requirements.**Required Skills and Expectations:**Candidates should have a Bachelors degree in Commerce (B.Com) and 1 to 5 years of accounting experience. Proficiency in accounting software and strong Microsoft Excel skills are essential. Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and exceptional organizational skills are critical. Candidates should also possess good communication abilities, allowing them to collaborate effectively with team members and external stakeholders.
