Our story began in 2003 when we spotted a gap in the market for a centralised hotel payments. Existing billback systems were fragmented, costly, and inefficient. So, in 2005, Conferma launched as a hotel booking platform with a purpose-built payment solution. We gave businesses the ability to connect with their bank, integrate with third-party points of sale, and access automated hotel invoice collection. It was the first step in reshaping travel payments.
