We are currently looking for a video editor with a knack for storytelling and sophisticated editing skills to join our team to help us with overflow editing and post -production work on a project-by-project basis.Location - Fully Remote/Off-siteVideo Style Cinematic, Street and Hip-Hop.Your Role: Collaborating with the Senior Video Producer to understand the purpose and objectives of the video piece. Reviewing the script to ensure that the story is being told in the most effective way for the style of video they are editing. Editing or rearranging the script in partnership with the stakeholder. Excellent editing skills with an eye of good storytelling. Understanding of how brand guidelines translate to video and ensuring that the guidelines are followed. Reviewing existing video concepts to see how topics were approached and edited in past. Working independently with input from the Sr. Producer once you are onboarded and advised on project specifications.Skills and Experience: 2+ years of experience as a Video Editor or similar title. Exceptional storytelling skills - you know how to consult with a client to achieve the best result. Proven ability to follow brand guidelines accurately.
