Perform routine general maintenance of the equipments by following laboratory standard operating procedures (SOP) Maintain records of environment conditions and ensure required environment for the investigation procedures. Maintain stock levels of some consumables and reagents. Carry out inspection of the incoming material on receipt and stock material before use. Run QC samples and enter the values and maintain documents and inform Department Lead if the values are out of range. Identify and Inspect samples for quantity and quality and reject and inform Section Lead if there is any defect and to maintain the records of sample acceptance/rejection. Prepare the samples for conducting tests Conduct the routine tests and enter the results. Intimate abnormal results. Report to Department Lead on critical alert values. Maintenance of records like daily result register, retain register and outsourcing register. Sample storage and handing over the samples for sample disposal. Inform Department Lead in case of Machine Breakdown. Dispose waste as per the policy / procedure Safety of self and equipments including usage of proper PPE
