This role is critical in managing transportation operations, handling logistical challenges, and supporting back-office tasks such as claims processing and transport management.Requirements* A degree or diploma in Auto or Mechanical Engineering.* A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Transportation Incharge in a similar industry.* In-depth knowledge of vehicle components, replacement parts, automotive parts, and the auto ancillary sector.* Proficiency in back-office operations related to claims processing and transport management.* A good level of computer literacy with familiarity in transport management software and tools.Responsibilities* Manage and oversee all transportation operations, ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods and passengers.* Coordinate the efficient movement of vehicles and shipments* Maintain and optimize vehicle performance, monitoring their components and replacement parts.* Collaborate with suppliers and vendors in the auto ancillary sector to ensure timely procurement of necessary vehicle parts.* Handle back-office tasks including claims processing and transport management systems.* Develop and implement transportation policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and compliance.* Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to minimize risks and maintain quality standards.* Analyze data and trends to improve transportation efficiency and cost-effectiveness.* Prepare reports and presentations to communicate transportation metrics and performance to management.
