Pushpa Devi Paramedical & Nursing Institute, SaharanpurPosition Overview:The Education Counsellor will be responsible for guiding students and parents about various Paramedical and Nursing diploma/certificate courses offered at the institute. The role involves counseling, admission facilitation, database management, and marketing outreach to increase student enrollment. The counsellor will act as the bridge between the institute and prospective students, ensuring smooth communication and a positive experience.Key Responsibilities:Student Counseling & GuidanceInteract with walk-in students, parents, and inquiries via phone, WhatsApp, email, and social media.Provide detailed information about paramedical and nursing courses, career opportunities, and admission procedures.Guide students in selecting the right course based on their academic background, interests, and career goals.Admissions & EnrollmentManage end-to-end admission processes (form filling, documentation, fee submission).Maintain and update student admission records.Follow up with leads and inquiries to ensure maximum conversions.Marketing & OutreachAssist in organizing seminars, webinars, and career guidance sessions in schools, colleges, and communities.Promote institute courses through social media, WhatsApp groups, and local campaigns.Build relationships with local schools, career counsellors, and NGOs to generate admissions.Administration & CoordinationWork closely with faculty and administration to update course-related information.Coordinate with the marketing team for promotional activities.Maintain inquiry-to-admission reports and provide daily/weekly updates to management.Required Skills & Competencies:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (Hindi & English, local dialect preferred).Strong convincing ability and student handling skills.Knowledge of Paramedical/Nursing field will be an added advantage.Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and basic digital tools.Goal-oriented and target-driven mindset.
