Job Summary:ASB Trading and Contracting is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Technical Designer with strong expertise in AutoCAD, aluminum fabrication, steel structures, and faade systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing comprehensive technical drawings, preparing detailed work orders, and coordinating with project engineers and site teams to ensure accurate execution of design specifications.________________________________________Key Responsibilities: Develop detailed technical drawings and shop drawings for aluminum, glass, cladding, and steel structures using AutoCAD and related software. Prepare fabrication and installation drawings as per project specifications and industry standards. Translate architectural and structural drawings into detailed work orders for production and site execution. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and production teams to ensure designs are feasible and within budget. Perform clash detection and resolve discrepancies between architectural, structural, and MEP drawings. Maintain design documentation and ensure drawings are updated according to revisions and project changes. Conduct regular technical checks and quality reviews of all outputs. Support the preparation of material take-offs and bill of quantities (BOQ). Ensure compliance with local and international standards related to faade and structural systems.________________________________________Required Skills and Software Proficiency: AutoCAD (Advanced proficiency) Revit or BIM 360 (preferred for 3D coordination and faade modeling) SketchUp / Rhino (for 3D conceptualization) Advance Steel or Tekla Structures (for steel detailing) Logikal / Orgadata (for aluminum system design) MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Familiarity with faade-specific analysis tools (e.g., Therm, Window, or structural analysis tools) is a plus.
