BDS/MDSKey Responsibilities-Clinical DutiesDiagnose and treat patients independently from initial consultation to completion of treatmentPrepare comprehensive treatment plans, explain options, costs, and timelines to patientsPerform routine and advanced dental procedures within scope of practiceEnsure adherence to clinical protocols, sterilization standards, and patient safetyMaintain accurate and complete clinical records-Patient ManagementConduct and monitor patient follow-upsHandle treatment progress reviews and post-procedure careEnsure high standards of patient communication and satisfactionAddress patient concerns and manage clinical escalations-Consultant CoordinationIdentify cases requiring specialist interventionSchedule and coordinate consultants (orthodontist, oral surgeon, implantologist, etc.)Assist consultants when required and ensure continuity of care-Administrative & Software ResponsibilitiesUpdate and maintain patient records, treatment notes, billing, and follow-ups in clinic softwareEnsure treatment plans, appointments, and payments are correctly enteredSupport clinic owner/management with clinical reporting and documentationFollow SOPs related to scheduling, consent forms, and treatment documentation
