- Candidate will support all phases of design, including schematic capture, layout, routing, symbol and footprint creation, generation of Gerber files, assembly drawings and other required PCB fabrication drawings and files as required.- The PCB Designer/Layout Engineer will work directly with the design engineers and mechanical engineers for part placement and packaging, providing estimates of efforts and working to assigned schedules.- A successful candidate will be a resourceful problem solver who is able to work around technical obstacles and work independently with little direct supervision.- Provide all required documentation such as layout, routing, symbol and footprint creation, generation of Gerber files, assembly drawings and other required PCB fabrication files from inception through release.- Experience designing layer count (>2) PCBs with multi-lamination construction is desired.- Experience working with PCB suppliers for DFM and design release is a plus.- Experience with AutoCAD, Adobe, Gerber packages and Microsoft suite is desired.
