Procurement:Source and negotiate with vendors to obtain the best possible pricing and terms for products.Evaluate supplier performance and maintain relationships to ensure timely delivery and quality assurance.Implement cost-saving initiatives without sacrificing quality.Inventory Management:Monitor inventory levels and track stock movement to prevent overstock or stockouts.Develop inventory control procedures to optimize storage space and minimize losses.Conduct regular inventory audits to reconcile discrepancies and maintain accurate records.Store Operations:Supervise store staff and provide guidance on purchasing decisions and inventory management.Coordinate with sales and marketing teams to forecast demand and plan promotions.Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in all store operations.Budgeting and Reporting:Develop and manage budgets for purchasing and inventory expenses.Prepare regular reports on purchasing activities, inventory levels, and cost variances.Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.Vendor Relations:Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms and agreements.Resolve any issues or disputes with vendors in a timely and professional manner.Stay informed about market trends and industry developments to anticipate changes in supply chain dynamics.

Quality Assurance:Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and monitor quality metrics across all areas of the organization.Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards.Process Improvement:Lead initiatives to streamline processes and eliminate inefficiencies in product development, manufacturing, and service delivery.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.Champion a culture of continuous improvement by promoting best practices and fostering a mindset of quality excellence.Supplier Quality Management:Evaluate supplier performance and conduct supplier audits to ensure compliance with quality requirements.Work closely with procurement and supply chain teams to qualify new suppliers and monitor ongoing supplier quality performance.Implement supplier development programs to drive improvements in quality and reliability of supplied components and materials.Training and Development:Provide training and guidance to employees on quality management principles, standards, and tools.Foster a culture of quality awareness and accountability throughout the organization.Develop and deliver quality-related training programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.Regulatory Compliance:Stay informed about relevant regulations and standards governing our industry and ensure compliance with all applicable requirements.Interface with regulatory agencies as necessary and oversee the preparation and submission of regulatory documentation and reports.Lead internal and external audits and inspections to demonstrate compliance with regulatory requirements.

Machine Setup and Operation:Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine machining requirements.Set up CNC machines by installing and adjusting tooling, fixtures, and workpieces according to job specifications.Load materials into machines, input program codes, and initiate machining processes.Monitor machine operations to ensure parts are produced to required specifications and quality standards.Tooling and Maintenance:Perform routine maintenance tasks on CNC machines, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn or damaged parts.Inspect tools and equipment for defects or irregularities and make adjustments as needed to maintain optimal performance.Keep work area clean and organized, including proper storage of tools, materials, and equipment.Quality Assurance:Conduct regular inspections of machined parts using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers) to verify conformance to specifications.Identify and troubleshoot issues with machine operation or part quality and make adjustments as necessary to ensure product integrity.Complete documentation and recordkeeping tasks to track production output, machine settings, and quality control data.Safety and Compliance:Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.Follow company policies and guidelines for machine operation, tool handling, and waste disposal.Report any safety hazards, incidents, or near misses to management immediately.
