If you dont fill all of the qualifications, you may still be considered depending on your level of experience.Responsibilities for quality controlFollowing accurate oral and written procedures for testing of in-process and final product samplesRevises standard operating procedures as neededSupporting process validation studies, contributing to investigations, method validations, assay method/procedure development, reagent preparation, in-process microbiological and analytical testing, growth promotion of media, and microbiological identification testingThe position requires knowledge of, but is not limited to, aseptic technique, microbial challenge studies, bioburden determination, microbiological method validation, endotoxin, protein, activity, TOC, and other similar analysis methodsConduct microbiological and chemical testing in support of manufacturing, raw materials, environmental systems, validations, projects, and shelf life studiesAuthor simple procedural updates, perform trending, and assist in lower level special projects related to improving lab processes or maintaining regulatory compliancyCheck product for defects according to Company quality standardsCollect, write and maintain records, reports, and file data on press and bindery issues, stock problems, ink and chemicals, and/or other qualifying data to obtain required quality standardsPerform hourly rounds to inkjet, bindery, stitcher, and laser areasTime stamp productsQualifications for quality controlExperience in petrochemical environment, preferably in Operations and/or HSSE rolesExperience with PIW issuance and gas testingPrior experience in Shell, preferably Geismar Chemical PlantSkilful in operating laboratory equipment related with the work assignedFull time shifts with overtime available for day and evening shifts weekendMinimal additional overtime required
