We ACCORD AUTOCOMP PVT LTD, Hinjawadi, Pune are seeking a meticulous and analytical Costing Engineer to join our team, specializing in the precision cost estimation for products manufactured via pressing, fabrication, and powder coating processes. The ideal candidate will establish and maintain accurate standard costs, support pricing strategies, and drive profitability improvement across our commodity lines.________________________________________Key Responsibilities: Cost Estimation & Quoting: Develop detailed cost estimates for new products and engineering changes, analyzing raw materials (steel, aluminum), tooling, processing time (stamping/pressing, welding, bending), labor, overhead, and powder coating applications. Process Analysis: Work closely with the Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to understand manufacturing processes and time studies, ensuring cost models accurately reflect operational complexity and efficiency. Standard Cost Management: Establish and regularly review standard costs for all manufactured commodities, investigating and explaining significant variances between actual and standard costs. Data Management: Maintain the costing database and ERP system with current material prices, labor rates, and machine burden rates for pressing, welding, and powder coating operations. Profitability Analysis: Analyze product margins and support sales teams with data-driven recommendations for pricing strategies and make-or-buy decisions. Continuous Improvement: Identify cost-reduction opportunities by analyzing bills of material (BOMs), optimizing process routings, and evaluating alternative manufacturing methods

Key Responsibilities:- Understand customer RFQs, drawings, and technical specifications for tubular assemblies and sheet metal parts. - Participate in design feasibility studies, DFMEA reviews, and provide manufacturability inputs. - Support APQP activities including timing plans, PPAP submissions, and prototype approvals. - Define manufacturing processes for tubular bending, welding (CO, TIG, MIG), fixture development, sheet metal stamping, fabrication, and finishing. - Prepare initial process flow diagrams, control plans, and work instructions. - Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for prototype and tool development. - Track fixture manufacturing, tool readiness, sample submissions, and validation activities. - Conduct sample trials and ensure part quality meets drawing and GD&T requirements. - Support tool try-outs, fixture validation, dimensional inspections, and part performance tests. - Support customer meetings, project reviews, and sample submissions. - Address initial feedbacks and ensure corrective actions are implemented. - Maintain APQP checklists, sample submission records, trial reports, inspection reports, and PPAP documents.

- Key responsibilities:1. Perform welding tasks using various techniques such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.- The welder will be responsible for carrying out welding tasks using different techniques to join metal components together securely.2. Read and interpret blueprints to determine the specific welding requirements.- The welder should be able to understand and interpret blueprints to determine the specific welding needs for each project.3. Inspect welds for accuracy and structural integrity.- It is essential for the welder to inspect the welds they have created to ensure they meet quality standards and are structurally sound.- Required skills and expectations:1. Proficiency in various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.2. Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.3. Strong attention to detail to ensure the quality of welds.4. Physical strength and stamina to handle welding equipment and work with metal components.5. Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.6. Safety-conscious mindset to adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while welding.7. Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment and follow instructions accurately.8. Minimum education requirement of completing 10th grade.

Monitor machine operation: Monitor the grinding process to ensure it is running smoothly and make adjustments as needed.3. Inspect finished products: Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.4. Maintain equipment: Clean and maintain grinding machines to ensure they operate efficiently.5. Follow safety protocols: Adhere to safety regulations and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.Required Skills and Expectations:1. Knowledge of grinding techniques: Understanding of different grinding techniques and processes.2. Attention to detail: Ability to pay close attention to detail to ensure products meet specifications.3. Ability to work independently: Capable of working independently and making decisions to ensure smooth machine operation.4.
