In 1976, Shri A. Babu Rao started working in Cafe Niloufer as a cleaner. By his sincerity, eye-to-detail and sheer hard work, he quickly became a waiter, then a tea master and later a supervisor. In 1978, Shri A. Babu Rao who was by then a expert in preparing Irani chai and Osmania biscuits has signed an agreement to run the cafe. In 1993, he acquired the cafe and has continued delighting his customers with utmost quality and consistency. Equally committed and passionate is his son.
