The Pediatric Speech Therapist is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, communication, feeding, and swallowing disorders in infants, toddlers, children, and adolescents. The role focuses on supporting developmental milestones and improving functional communication skills in collaboration with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams.Key Responsibilities:Perform comprehensive pediatric speech, language, articulation, fluency, voice, social communication, and feeding/swallowing assessmentsDevelop and implement individualized, developmentally appropriate treatment plansDeliver engaging, evidence-based therapy interventions tailored to pediatric populationsMonitor and document patient progress; adjust therapy plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomesEducate and train parents, caregivers, and teachers on therapy strategies and home programsCollaborate with pediatricians, psychologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, educators, and other professionalsParticipate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings when applicableMaintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with organizational, legal, and ethical standardsEnsure a safe, supportive, and child-friendly therapy environment
