job responsibilities:

- develop, customize, and maintain wordpress websites based on client requirements.

- work with themes and plugins to create visually appealing and functional websites.

- ensure website responsiveness, speed optimization, and performance improvements.

- implement seo best practices in wordpress websites.

- troubleshoot and debug wordpress-related issues, including theme and plugin conflicts.

- collaborate with designers, developers, and content teams to deliver high-quality projects.

- stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in wordpress development.

required skills & qualifications:

- 6 months to 2 years of experience in wordpress development.

- proficiency in wordpress, html, css, javascript, and php.

- experience with page builders like elementor, wpbakery, or gutenberg.

- familiarity with woocommerce, acf (advanced custom fields), and custom post types.

- basic knowledge of mysql and database management.

- understanding of seo principles and website optimization techniques.

- experience with git/version control is a plus.

- good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- strong communication and teamwork skills.

nice-to-have skills:

- experience with rest api integration.

- familiarity with website security best practices.

- knowledge of server and hosting environments (cpanel, ftp, etc.).

- experience with javascript frameworks like react or (a plus).
