• install, configure, and manage windows server environments (2016, 2019, and 2022).
• perform routine maintenance, patching, and updates on windows servers.
• monitor server performance and resolve issues with server performance, backups, and security.
• manage active directory, dhcp, group policy, and other core windows services.
• hands on experience in iis, plesk, dns, sql and domain services.
• configure and manage hyper-v virtual environments, including virtual machines (vms), networks, and storage.
• provide 2nd and 3rd level support for technical issues related to windows server, azure, and virtualization technologies.
• respond to incidents, requests, and perform root cause analysis on system failures.
• utilize monitoring tools to oversee server performance, network traffic, and system health.
• design and implement backup strategies, including azure backup and nas storages.
• implement and maintain security best practices for servers, networks, and cloud infrastructure.
• bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 1 to 3 years of experience in windows server administration, azure cloud management, and hyper-v virtualization.
• hands-on experience with storage spaces direct (s2d) in a production environment.
• proficiency in active directory, dns, dhcp, group policy, and other windows services.
• strong understanding of azure services such as virtual machines, virtual networks, and storage accounts.
• knowledge of powershell and bat scripting for automation.
• familiarity with backup solutions, disaster recovery planning, and security protocols.
• strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• microsoft certifications such as mcse (microsoft certified solutions expert) or azure solutions architect.
• experience in managing hybrid cloud environments [azure & hyper-v].
• understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting.
