Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and responsible Welfare Officer for our Garment Manufacturing unit. The candidate will be responsible for employee welfare activities, statutory compliance, and maintaining a healthy work environment for workers.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle employee welfare activities as per factory and labor laws

Ensure compliance with labor laws related to welfare, health, and safety

Coordinate with management and workers to resolve welfare-related issues

Maintain records related to employee welfare, attendance, and statutory registers

Conduct awareness programs on health, hygiene, and safety

Support HR in grievance handling and disciplinary matters

Liaison with government departments, inspectors, and external agencies

Monitor working conditions, canteen, medical facilities, and safety measures

Assist in audits related to labor and social compliance

Requirements:

MSW (Master in Social Work) is mandatory

35 years of experience as a Welfare Officer in Garment Manufacturing industry

Good knowledge of labor laws and factory compliance

Good communication and coordination skills

Ability to handle workers and management effectively

Preferred Skills:

Experience in handling large workforce

Knowledge of social compliance standards

Problem-solving and conflict management skills
