Job Description:
We are looking for skilled FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) welders with experience in 136/138 processes, capable of delivering high-quality welds in industrial or construction environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform FCAW 136 (solid wire) and 138 (metal-cored wire) welding operations.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, WPS (Welding Procedure Specifications), and blueprints.
Prepare and position welding materials and surfaces according to specifications.
Ensure high-quality weld joints using correct techniques, tools, and parameters.
Inspect and maintain welding equipment and tools.
Follow all safety procedures, PPE protocols, and company standards.
Conduct visual inspections and grind or repair defects as needed.
Work in various positions – flat, vertical, overhead, and horizontal.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an FCAW welder using 136/138 methods.
Must be certified welder (if applicable – ISO, ASME, EN, or local standard).
Ability to weld steel structures, plates, and pipes.
Familiar with shielding gases used in FCAW processes.
Capable of working independently or in a team.
Physically fit and able to work in hot, dusty, or confined environments.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of multi-pass welding
Familiarity with NDT standards (non-destructive testing)
Experience in shipbuilding, pressure vessels, or heavy fabrication
