Freshers For Warehouse Assistant - Hooghly

As a Warehouse Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. Your primary responsibility will be to support various tasks that keep the warehouse running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

- Receiving and Inspecting Shipments: You will check incoming goods for accuracy and quality, making sure they match the delivery documents.

- Sorting and Storing Products: Your job will involve organizing items in the warehouse. This includes placing them in designated areas for easy access and tracking.

- Inventory Management: You will help maintain accurate inventory records by updating stock levels when items are added or removed.

- Picking and Packing Orders: When customer orders come in, you will collect the items, pack them securely, and prepare them for shipment.

- Maintaining Cleanliness and Safety: It is essential to keep the warehouse clean and organized. You will be responsible for following safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

- Assisting with Shipping Procedures: You will help prepare shipments for dispatch, which may include labeling and arranging transportation for the outgoing goods.

To be successful in this role, you should have basic math skills and be detail-oriented to ensure accuracy. Good communication and teamwork abilities are important, as you will work closely with other warehouse staff.
